High level meeting of the Söderköping Process, 10-11 December 2009

Participants:

The Head of Swedish Migration Board, the Deputy Ministers of the Interior of the Republic of Belarus, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Ukraine, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine as well as Senior officials from all ten CBCP countries.

Objectives

  • To further elaborate the strategy for the future of the Söderköping Process
  • To formally launch new Process transformed from a partner-driven project into a Government led initiative
  • To introduce a rotating Chairmanship of the Söderköping Process
  • To discuss on possible ways of integrating the Söderköping Process into the Eastern Partnership
  • To evaluate the activities implemented in 2006-2009 and approve the Work Plan for 2010
