200 thousand foreigners came to Belarus over two years of visa-free travel regime


Around 200 thousand foreigners have visited Belarus since introduction of visa-free regime in 2017. It was noted on 7 February at the meeting in the head department of sports and tourism of the Minsk City Executive Committee.

In 2017, Belarus introduced a 5-day visa-free regime, and in July 2018 it was increased to 30 days. During this time, guests from 69 countries of the world took advantage of visa-free travel. Most often they came from Germany — about 32 thousand people, Poland — almost 18 thousand, Italy (17.5 thousand), Great Britain (13.6 thousand), USA (13.3 thousand).
