Key indicators on education, skills and employment released

14.02.19

European Training Foundation published “Key indicators on education, skills and employment 2018”. Based on data on vocational education, skills, employment and labour market outcomes compiled in 2018, this Report provides an overview of trends and developments in ETF partner countries and aims to raise awareness on the use of indicators to drive the policy cycle.

Vocational training is proven to be a fast-track from school to work, with higher employment rates among young adults who graduated from vocational training in nearly all countries. Nevertheless, not all countries offer the same opportunities. Even though there are local or regional differences, these are the main trends in 29 countries surrounding the EU – from Ukraine to Morocco – as highlighted by the Report.
