Some 24,000 persons renounced Ukrainian citizenship in the past three years
Around 24,000 people renounced the citizenship of Ukraine over the past three years, as Deputy Head of the State Migration Service of Ukraine Tatiana Nikitina stated.
Ms. Nikitina also noted that fewer foreigners have applied for Ukrainian citizenship in the past few years.
In 2017, President Petro Poroshenko revoked the Ukrainian citizenship of 5,200 people. At the same time, less than 1,000 people received Ukrainian citizenship last year.
